Madhu Pandit is Principal Partner at NMA since the year 2004.

After graduating from the School of Planning and Architecture in 1983, Madhu spent her first summer in Leh, Ladakh working on alternative energy projects for “Permaculture Natural Building & Biodynamics”. In 1986 she set up practice with TEAM which was awarded the extension to the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi in an open National competition.

She has worked on award winning projects and much of her work is in the mountains, involving green practices and often sensitive reconstruction and adaptive reuse of old buildings.

She is a regular speaker at conferences and has taught design as visiting faculty at School of Planning & Architecture and the erstwhile TVB School of Habitat Studies in New Delhi. She is presently an external examiner/thesis guide at leading Schools of Architecture across the country.
